I am gathering geospatial data for an ongoing review of E. coli research in wildlife. Wild populations are known to harbor antimicrobial resistant and pathogenic strains of E. coli, which pose an increasing threat to global human health. I am mapping livestock operations and water waste pollution in California to get a more accurate picture of E. coli's biodiversity, distribution, and transmission.
