Masters student researcher

Lucy Edy

I am a co-term student pursuing a Master of Science in Earth Systems, with a focus on conservation biology (expected graduation Summer 2021). As an undergrad, I participated in a field study of African elephants in Etosha National Park in Namibia. Funded by a UAR Major Grant, I conducted research on male elephant social behavior and diet for my senior capstone project. I am interested in environmental and social justice, ecology, and animal behavior, specifically as it relates to conservation and the human-animal interface.
